Carolina Jones APRN, FNP-C
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

My heart is for my patients, whether it’s to celebrate their triumphs or hold their hand during a difficult season. With Vital, I have the privilege of being able to treat their illness but also to treat the WHOLE person.

Carolina Jones is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in healthcare for over 15 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with her master’s in Nursing Practice. She attended Jacksonville University for her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing also earning the highest honors. Carolina spent several years working on an Orthopedic unit and then transitioned to the Emergency Department. Searching for ways to connect more with her patients she decided to become a Nurse Practitioner. As an NP, Carolina has worked at multiple community health centers and also a free clinic for the underserved and/or indigent population. Her passion is for the Latino/Hispanic Community and Women. She has a calling for medical missions and jumps at any opportunity to help those in need which is evident in the work she has accomplished in Guatemala.

Carolina is also certified in Obesity Medicine through the Obesity Medicine Association. Having lost 100lbs herself, she prides herself in being able to relate to the challenges many face during their weight loss journey. As a busy mom of 3 young children, Carolina has developed a program that is easy, sustainable, and most importantly works!

Due to her dedication to women’s health, Carolina also became an official Certified SottoPelle® Provider and is qualified to address and treat the causes of so many issues in the peri and post-menopausal woman. Hormone balancing can help with symptoms such as depression, low energy, fatigue, low libido, and difficulties in being able to lose fat. It can also help with mental focus and clarity.

Carolina is of Colombian descent and is proudly bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Having worked in multiple clinics where insurance dictated patient care is what motivated her to pursue Direct Primary Care. She is excited to get to know you and your families and to develop a partnership where YOUR health comes first.

Dr. Kenneth Argote APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner

I grew tired of the “traditional” way of doing things in primary care and believe my patients deserve the best care. Care that is excellent, affordable and delivered when they need it…not 2 weeks later.

Dr. Kenneth Argote is a board certified doctorally prepared nurse practitioner with over 12 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Argote graduated in 2010 with honors from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree and worked in the Emergency Department as well as a cardiac unit.

After caring for hundreds of acutely sick patients at the hospital for 2 years, he saw that many of these visits could have been prevented if proper primary care were given so he returned back to USF in 2012 to pursue his Masters of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in Family Primary Care. In 2014, he graduated with honors and began working at a community health center where he grew his skills as a primary care provider and gained a greater passion to care for people.

Still wanting to strengthen his clinical and leadership skills even more, he returned back to USF and in 2019 graduated with his doctoral degree. During those 7 years he provided preventative care, acute care and chronic care to patients of all ages. Frustrated with the way traditional primary care and health insurance worked against the patients, Dr. Argote began searching for a better medical model that would allow him to truly care for his patients without putting restraints on quality of care.

In 2021 Vital Advanced Medical Center was established and now through the direct primary care model he provides excellent, affordable care the way patients deserve.
